Norfolk County Holidays from AU$3,328

The price for the rooms was approximately $450/night. I felt the room (Jr Suite) was a good size for that price but we didn’t like that there was minimal storage. The closet was extremely small and there were no drawers to put our clothes so we were living out of a suitcase with our clothes and toiletries on the window ledge. The TVs were dated. They could update with Smart TVs. The TVs had cable and Netflix but no other streaming services. Our 1st night the cable was out and we don’t use Netflix so we had no tv. There’s was also no maintenance guy to repair until the next day. Trivial but it would have been nice to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Lastly, we made a mistake booking only 2 nights instead of the 3 we intended. This caused a problem because we didn’t know we needed to checkout and while we were out sightseeing we were sent emails to checkout. Obviously we weren’t looking for these emails because we thought we were checking out the following day. I noticed around 4pm and when I called we were told we needed to checkout. Fortunately we were allowed to stay in the same room but the rate jumped to approximately $750 that night.

Everyone from outside arrival and beyond were helpful, friendly and welcoming.

The room and property met my expectations. Given the angle of the building to the water I didn't think there would be much of a view but we got lucky and even from the SE facing side of building 3 we could watch sailboats coming and going from the Boston channel.

We arrived early so the front desk held our luggage and gave us good intructions on where we needed to go. They have a nice bar and have coffee and hot tea available 24/7 in the cozy lobby. Rooms were small but fine. The location was amazing! Minutes to the Freedom Trail and many other landmarks.

This hotel is fantastic! Clean and modern rooms. Great location to enjoy all Boston has to offer. Pubs, shops, within steps.
